New Gate Operating Hours

I hope this message finds you well. In response to a number of requests to help limit access to Central Commons the gate will now only be open during select hours. All access outside of those times will be by code.

If anyone needs assistance with it, please don’t hesitate to call me and we’ll get you what you need.

Respectfully,

Happy New Year

Dear Homeowners,

Can you believe that 2012 is almost here?  It has been an exciting year and I hope that each of you have a very Happy New Year.  I would like to ask that each of you remember that fireworks can be a hazard to your community, neighbors, and are not legal in all counties.  If you do use fireworks, please be sure to pick up all the remains and keep them away from your neighbors or their homes.

Also, please remember that assessment payments are due on the first of the month.  If you have not set up automatic payments, this year may be the time to consider that.  This allows you to assure that your payments are always made on time to avoid any late fees.  You may do this at www.cmgcharleston.com.

Again, I hope that each of you have a Happy New Year and a safe holiday!

Respectfully,

Updates and More

Hi Central Commons,

I would like to share some news about your community.  The large tree near the dog park has recently lost one of the dead limbs and the board has decided to dead wood this tree and aerate it to prevent any future issues.  This tree is still very much alive but these dead limbs could cause future damage to the community if not addressed.  Please note that we want to assure the safety of the home owners and this is a situation that your board has taken very seriously.

Many of you may have noticed that the pond fountain lights have been restored.  It seems that in the past, Central Commons has experienced some major electrical issues which were extensive and needed repair to restore these lights to full capacity.  The electrical issues for the main pond have been not only fixed, but the lines have been isolated to minimize ongoing issues.  However, storms are unpredictable and can cause additional electrical issues, therefore, we need to hear from you upon any further light outages at the ponds.

If you have any concerns for your board, please send them to me, as I will be meeting with them early next year to discuss future plans and projects for Central Commons.  I hope that you have enjoyed the pine straw application and I know that your board will continue to work towards each project on the table, one at a time.

Happy Holidays and I look forward to working with you in 2012!

Community Information

Hi Homeowners,

I would like to give you an update on your community and some concerns of the residents.  First, your new board is working hard to provide some of the basic needs of the community such as pine straw.  We will have a work day this Saturday at 9 am to put down pine straw in one area and the landscapers will be putting pine straw in front of the homes, the entrance and at the mailboxes in the next few days.  In the new year, they will be having some electrical issues addressed that have affected the gate and fountains.  They will be working towards putting in a new call system for the gate once all electrical issues are eliminated and in the Spring they will assess which landscaping items need to be removed and replaced.

I would like to remind each of you about some basic things that each of you must do to keep this community looking it’s best.

·         All porches must be kept clean and neat without trash, excessive overgrown plants, bicycles or toys

·         Anyone having more than two vehicles per home should park their vehicles towards the back of the property in the extra parking area

·         No items should be kept in the grass areas and kept neatly on your  patio

·         No storage containers or additions can be made to any property unless you turn in an ARC application which can be found on our website at www.cmgcharleston.com

·         Please call your local police if you see suspicious behavior in the community

·         Please be sure to pick up after your pets, and all pets must be kept on a leash at all times…it is the law

·         Please be sure to not dispose of any cigarette butts on the property grounds

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me and I will have those items brought to your board.  I look forward to seeing you on Saturday at the community project.

Pine Straw Placement

Central Commons Homeowners,

I am happy to report that Central Commons will be getting a small portion of the straw needed for your community.  Central Commons does not have sufficient funds to pine straw the entire community but we will be doing pine straw in the next few weeks around the front of the buildings.  The back of the buildings will be the last to receive pine straw and that will be later next year at the earliest.  We are also looking into getting pine straw for the community to put down as a community project at the front of the neighborhood, road side.  We will be in touch about this when the funds are available for this project.

Terminix Inspections

Homeowners:

Please note that Terminix will be on your property on the 11th of November from 8:30 am to 4 pm.  They need to get in each home to do the inspection, so please make sure you are available at some point during this time.  If you are not available all day, please make sure that you let the Terminix inspectors know of your time frame when they are on property.  Thank you.

Respectfully,
